The Little Salmon River Watershed was the first area that we began restoring all the way back in 1996. Riparian planting and protection projects have occurred nearly every year since then on multiple properties. Hundreds of volunteers have donated thousands of hours to slowly reintroduce woody vegetation to riparian areas which stabilizes stream banks, narrows channels and shades water. These efforts to improve water quality and fish & wildlife habitat are truly amazing!
Use the map below to discover the different projects and restoration techniques that we have used in the watershed. Use the zoom tools to view map markers in a specific area of the watershed and click on the markers to see a photo and link to photo galleries and information about an area. The menu on the left (desktop) or below (mobile) is a quick and easy way to explore individual sites and the "hamburger" menu in the top left corner of the map is another way to locate map markers.
